Thomas J. Miller published his first story – written in German – in 1994 for the German literary magazine, Literatur in Bayern. That piece was about German “thirst” and Oktoberfest beer, becoming the launching pad for an extensive writing career about beer and wine. Always in search of the world’s best fermented beverages – even if he has to try making them himself – he now embarks on turning his adventures and experiences into fiction. Thomas was born in Wausau, Wisconsin to parents who grew up farming. A man of many talents, he is an accomplished home brewer, has owned an international ski tourism business in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is a widely published author, and has been involved in the brewing and craft beer industry since 1990. Thomas’s articles on brewing have run in premier magazines such as Brew Your Own and Winemaker, and he is the author of the brewing-focused mystery novel, “An Oktoberfest Death“.
